Hey everyone.

New here and have some questions, looking to get a

Acanthoscurria geniculata

(GIANT WHITE KNEE 5-7cm)

Listed for sale as a juvenile, what size enclosure would be best? Can I go to an adult size for it or will I need to gradually increase to a bigger one?

What type of prize range is realistic?

Hello there. The general rule of thumb for terrestrial tarantulas is to choose an enclosure 3-4x the diagonal leg span of the T, with no more than 1.5-2x the DLS in free climbing height. You can tune the height by varying the amount of substrate inside the enclosure.

Welcome to the forum and hobby!
Why not formally introduce yourself over in the Introductions section?
