Hey all, just wondering a couple of things. First are there any vendors in the USA that ship to the UK? Ive seen a couple Ts on american sites that seem few and far between in the UK (not neccessarily a certain species, but also a certain level of maturity)
Secondly, america to uk would be a long journey, whats the likelihood of a survival? Has anyone sent to the uk from america, bought from america or vice versa? Ive bought from poland and had them sent to the uk but thats just around the corner compared to america lol.

check with your custom's there, here in the US it's about a week wait to get through customs, or last i read anyway. I was looking at getting some G. pulchra from Poland but the wait and fees weren't worth it.

I've read posts about people ordering across the pond going both ways. If the T's are well fed before and packaged well they should survive.

I personally wouldn't do it (order from U.S.) no matter how tempting and I've been tempted lol! I feel bad for T's I've ordered from the south of England to Scotland which isn't that far compared to the topic in question...
i'd me more curious if it's worth the costs. The majority of my collection has been ordered from 2300 to 2500 miles or so (3700-4000 km) away and London to NYC is only about 900 miles more than the distance on my last order ;)

If they Ts are fed well and the packaging is good, shouldn't be an issue about surviving the trip. I'd contact the vendor you were looking at here and see if they ship international and what the fees are.

Ahaha yeah it's easy to forget the size of the good ole U.S of A., London is probably closer to New York than New York is to L.A. (don't quote me on that lol). I suppose if packaged right they'd survive but I'd rather just get mine in the uk...
agreed.

Just cause i had to look up the distance on my last post from London to NYC ;) London to NYC is about (all numbers rounded) 3500 miles (5600 km) and NYC to LA is about 2800 miles (4500 km) not quite as far as i thought it would be. My last T order was from somewhere in Virginia to central Idaho, 2400 miles or so.

@Shampain Some of the Polish shops use a courier so they come in a van within 24 hours or so.
