The Psalmopoeus that's burrowed needs to be set up like this...

They need something, corkbark, leaves, sticks leaned against the side of the enclosure and moss to help them feel secure. They will web and tunnel on the backside of the leaves and stick to create their home. Without this they wont feel secure...that leads to not eating and i dont want to say what comes next.

OP, @Arachnoclown is spot on as usual

Here is a pic from another keeper on another forum to give you an idea. These are for juveniles

Non Avic setup 3.jpg

I have pics in two threads here (P. pulcher and P. burgessi) for 3/4"-1" non-avic arboreal slings set up in 24oz deli cups

Google "non-avic arboreal enclosure" to give you other ideas

My philosophy is get them to 2". Until then I dont care about fancy enclosures....and you all know I like fancy enclosures. Its easier to feed in smaller enclosures, they dont have to work hard to get the grub. I can catch the uneaten prey fast too. Watering is better...less evaporation. They are also much easier to view...even in their dirt curtains.
