Time to settle this

Hi All,

I think of this everyday: Is the colbalt blue tarantula called H.Lividium or C. Lividium?!? I hear both names everywhere and it’s driving me crazy. Please share what scientific name you call this tarantula.

To answer your question, it was formerly named Haplopelma lividum.

You are correct. There was a revision on this genus from Haplopelma to Cyriopagopus. Then they changed the species name from lividum to lividus.
