Three year old Curlyhair T (female) is constantly climbing/roaming and has her entire life?

Hi again.

Thanks for identifying my beloved T.

When I boarded her for three or so weeks while I went abroad the reptile store that boarded her said she was always on the side of her cage because her peat moss/vermiculite mix was too damp.

It was time for an upgrade anyway so, I finally moved her into the 10 gallon she has needed for a good bit now. She's a pretty big T. Now she's on bone-dry coco fiber. I added a few wide sterilized branches, some stylish fake plants, and made her a wet side and a dry side. She has never had a hide and she does not have one now.

My T has always, always, been a side-clinger and a climber. She moves almost constantly and has since she was a sling. She has always molted with no issues, she's a good eater and has otherwise presented no odd behaviors or issues. She is docile and can be easily handled but I rarely handle her unless I am cleaning her cage.

Is the cage wall walking something I should be concerned about? Could this just be part of who she is? Maybe something she is habituated to?

In the pics below you can see her standard pose ( I spritzed her leaves and she seems to have gotten a drop on her) and her 10 gallon.

THanks so much for any and all advice!!!

One of my old Ts used to do that no matter what substrate she had. Mine was a rosie. I think if she was unhappy she wouldnt be eating or moulting so i wouldnt worry too much

My Curly Hair does the same thing never mind if her substrate is dry or wet so I don't think you need to be worried.

My curly hair was always out. Only really wandered at night. Then...she burrowed literally burying everything on the surface. Her plants, limb and water bowl were all covered w substrate. She then molted underground and hasn't come out since. She's @ three or four and I'd never seen anything like it. I was able to turn the enclosure around and see her underground though. Just wanted a change I guess.
