Post 55 in this threadWhat’s your current list?
Definitely in the plans (really interested in getting a P. rufilata sometime in 2020).You could always round out your Brachies with an auratum, boehmei, etc. Looks to me though what you really need are some Poecs!
Had a massive GBB that passed in 2017 (looking at some AFs now), had 9 C. versicolor and all turned out male (if someone has females in the future, I will likely buy one). Looking at a few P. murinus now (a few different variants)The glaringly obvious is a GBB!!! How can you even live without one lol. A strong second would be C. versicolor and since you have a lugardi, my third pick is obt. All hobby staples IMO.
I have all three, H. chilensis is an adult however. Raising H. orellanai slings as well. They are quite similar to H. chilensis in growth and care.If you have the time to wait a Homoeomma chilensis sling grows very slowly into a wonderful T. I would also highly recommend a Monocentropus balfouri which is the most beautiful T I have & it's webbing is something amazing to see.
My Aphonopelma chalcodes is my biggest character & not only my most bold T, that has no hesitation in whacking out at any leaves I move, but a T that comes out to see what I am doing. And as a result it is my favourite T that I own & the only one I have named. Everyone should have a A chalcodes.
Phormictopus cancerides are large & very under rated. Mine is a total kitten & very happy to walk around it's enclosure until the lid comes off. But with the lid off he just has to pop up & say hello & a hand does not keep him inside. It is a chance for a longer walk. So normally I use the enclosure lid & let him have a wander, but he is one I do occasionally accidentally end up handling. They are eager feeders & easy to keep.
My dream species right now is a P. auratus. Had an I. mira that I raised from a tiny sling. He passed a few months ago.Surprised no one mentioned Ephebopus murinus, Hysterocrates gigas, Pterinopelma sazimai, Phormictopus auratus, Idiothele mira, Chilobrachys dyscolus...just a few from the top of my head.
Phormictopus auratus, full green and Dominican violet are def high on my wish listMy dream species right now is a P. auratus. Had an I. mira that I raised from a tiny sling. He passed a few months ago.
2020 I'll really expand my arboreal collection. I need more P. langenbucheri.
