Peanut is so cute...I never knew S calciatums looked like fuzzy avics as slings..is he quick and jumpy? He looks quick..maybe because I know it's an S cal...

No, I hadn't expected it to be so fuzzy especially as it's only1 moult from EWL. Yes, it can teleport but more often just stays still when I move its container. It certainly appears quickly for food lol.

They've been here 11 days now.

The S. calceatum, Peanut, has done little more than make a hollow under the cork bark where it sits to hide although I can still see it but it spends a lot of time out in the open.


On the other hand the N. sp Suriname, Kalina, has been extremely busy building a den. These photos have been taken from the same angles as the previous pics so you can see just how hard this tiny T has worked
