She did when I first put her in her new enclosure but now just threatens to kick but doesn't. She has postured a few times when I've gone to change her water or feeding but I think she's just trying to find out if I'm not nice or not. I'm really happy that I've got her and am thinking about more. Just learning about her and making sure she's ok gives me something to get up for as I've been having a pretty crap time recently. Thanks for all the info you've been giving me I really appreciate it. Here's another few pics of the grumpy girl.
She is very cute thanks for showing her cute pictures :) when you got her it was confirmed female?

No but looking at (her) she seems to be I literally know nothing about her. She was given to me as a red rump for free as my nephew's housemate had too many and wanted to re-home. I had a Chilean rose when I was 18 and had all the equipment so decided to adopt her. Looking at her feet I would say she was a female though.

She also doesn't seem to have the bulbous front feelers like a male.

Yeah doesnt look like male but I want to remind you that mature males they usually only look different than females when they mature but before they are mature they will look just like the female thats why when getting tarantulas be careful because some people unfortunately sell confirmed males that are sub adult as female because by the time you find out their actual gender it will be too late anyway

Hopefully she is female because I want to have her for as long as I can. I didn't pay anything for her and am just glad that I'm having the experience in keeping again. Time will tell I suppose. Again very thankful for all your help it has really given me a better understanding. I will keep on doing my best for (her). I'm really enjoying having something that I have and want to care for. Sorry for being a bit weird but she's helping me out of my depression I actually get out of bed feeling happy knowing I get to see her.

It's all good I'm not ashamed of talking about my depression anymore. Don't talk don't get help. If someone else see's our chat it might help them. Really good to see there are some good people out there when the world seems so sad. Wish you well my friend I'll keep you posted on things. Thanks again for everything.

Hi Sullivan
Sorry I haven't posted in a while. She still hasn't moulted but keeps showing signs. She hasn't eaten for a couple of weeks but still looks ok hope I'm doing everything right.

No need to be sorry :D yeah it usually takes a long time for bigger spiders to moult again so it might take alittle longer before she actually does. Pictures look great and from experience if you feed spiders very often they seem to want to fast so if you dont want them to fast often I would just feed them like every 2 weeks or a month :) if you have grammostola porteri/rosea you would know those spiders fast very long time so I wouldnt worry if they dont always want food, if they dont want food they are probably just not hungry but if a spider doesnt eat there is always 3 possibilities of why. Its either spider has impaction which is terrible, spider is in premoult or spider is fasting those 2 are normal and completely okay but if the reason is impaction thats very bad news because there is probably no cure for that at all.. people try cleaning the area that has impaction but I doubt it actually does something that works

I think I have an idea what species it is but can you also take a picture from top so I can fully see the patterns? also take the picture in a bright room if possible :)
Hi Sullivan
It's been a while so sorry about that. I'm a bit worried about my T she hasn't eaten in about 3 weeks. I've tried her with locusts and she seems scared of them even though she is much larger than them. The person I got her off only fed her morio worms but she's not even taking them. She's still extremely active and doesn't look about to moult. She also seems to be very skittish when I change her water more so than before. Any advice greatly appreciated.
Regards Ed

Hi Eddie sorry for extremely long time to reply to your message, I just didnt receive your message notifications until now so I apologize for very late reply.. I know its been some months now that you messaged me so is there any improvements on the spider's appetite? did you check if she drinks water? if she drinks water its likely that she is just not ready to accept food yet due to stress or just not hungry or I know you said she doesnt look like she is in premolt but that is always another possibility just maybe not in your case
