My female alphonopelma chalcodes did a weird thing earlier , I went to touch her gently with a stick to get her to move, and she turned around and started drumming. She is only doing it when i touch her, This is also the first i've ever seen any of my tarantulas do it. She's the only mature one, so no males around. But i'm not sure if that has to do with it. I had done it several times with her and every time she turns around and tried to hang onto the stick and starts drumming on the ground. I am not sure if she is irritated or what, I haven't encountered anything like this before. Can't find much on it either as she isn't just randomly drumming, only when I touch her with the stick. Anyone have an idea of what this is?
