That girl is a little turkey turd... every time he went for it she lifted her booty out of the way. It didn't look like he got an insert because she was being uncooperative. I'd give him a few days then try again at night. They're usually more active/receptive after dark. Good luck! I'm excited for you!

Thx!!! It looked like she wasn't in the mood to murder him BUT also wasn't in the mood to give it up.
She is now doing laps around her enclosure so maybe she is having second thoughts

Hahaha! Just like a girl. Played hard to get, and now she's sad he moved on. You could try again tonight. The only reason I said to wait is in case he HAD gotten an insert and needed to reload. I don't think he did, so he should be good to go.

It was a couple months ago, I believe when she molted....when I posted video of the molting, and pix, of the molt itself stretched across a 12" paper plate. To be exact, I'll look in my notes, and check the date

I always wanted a T stirmi sling so I could watch it grow but I can never seem to find one anywhere.. Yeah they're born big with an even bigger appetite I hear
