So far I've found info on DKS, and nematodes. Are there any other diseases? What else should I look for?

Your looking into more than you need to. For your first Ts concentrate on learning the husbandry and maybe watch a load of rehousing videos to see different techniques and what to do if something doesn't quite go to plan. If you start looking at stuff like dks you'll have it in the back of your mind and be paranoid everytime you see one of your Ts just doing "spider things". You'll notice them in weird positions and doing strange stuff all the time and you'll immediately turn to something is wrong.

There's some kind of fungal issue that has come up a few times in threads. I never really followed up on it though, as it seems very rare. DKS is the most common issue, but you shouldn't have to worry about it if you keep all chemicals away from your spiders. All chemicals. And wash hands before and after any enclosure maintenance.

I got sterile gloves too. Just in case, and I'm not huge on chemicals. I smoke, but never in the house, and I'm not prone to sleeping with the windows except for really nice spring mornings. The fungus is called cordycepts, I believe.

I'm not that paranoid.
