Sudden molt again

My tliltocatl schroederi molted on may 6th. It was great, looked good, ate really well. Then I noticed almost exactly 2 months later it has molted again. It's been about 4 days, I checked back in. He dropped 3 legs! I had a freak out because seeing only 5 legs and not the best mobility was not in the books. I know there's sometimes not an exact reason but why so many legs dropped? Why such a fast molt and presumably not a good molt? They still look beautiful and healthy abdomen size. Just bummed a little

Don't know bout the dropped legs but my first OBT had his ultimate molt, hooked out to the nines and 2 months later molted again and compared to my other male OBT he was already Goliath and then he became super Goliath. The leg dropping is truly disturbing. They usually only drop bad limbs that I'm aware of. If your spider had all healthy limbs I can't imagine why she would drop them lest she knows something we never will??!?

That's wild. They truly are fascinating creatures. Besides slings, I've never understood how they can molt so quickly in such short time periods. I've stated before how my G. Pulchra molted like 2/3 months apart from their last. By no means mature but still incredible.

It's strange. I always joke that maybe I'm taking too good of care. Apparently that wasn't the case with this last one. Or maybe their back legs got stuck in their molt. That's the only ones they lost, furthest back.

Possibly there was an issue with the last molt that effected the legs, and he rush through another molt to start the healing process.
The legs will grow back with future molts.
The legs were all functional before. But there's always a possibility. Watching the legs regrow is always fascinating. Just sad it happened

Makes sense. Recently had a P. victori sling come out with some wonky front legs. The next molt, he got rid of one of the front legs while the other remained wonky. I wonder if he will drop the remaining wonky leg next molt.

Watching a spood regrow limbs is truly amazing! Stinks they have to go through it but they can pull through with a little T LC!
