smoke inhalation and trantulas

Does smoke inhalation affect or kill trantulas, i know they have book lungs, but im unsure (or scorpians)

Story behind the question
Last night my furnace exploded, smoking up the basement, was able to turn off the power to it befor the house burned, and was able to limit most the smoke to the basement, although some got up stairs. My sister was hospilized and relesed for smoke inhalation.
All my ts seem ok today along with my birds and frogs (so upstairs co2 was not to bad )

Yep, they can die much quicker than us in a smoky room. I'm sure you opened all the windows long ago,so they should be fine.

Ya we dont have floor vents so most the smoke was in the basement, didnt lose anyone luckily
