The dwarf white isopods are just about the hardiest animals I've ever dealt with. Yes, they prefer a more humid environment, but they will survive very dry enclosures as long as they get misted once a week. If you have a water dish in there, they will congregate under that. Any large item taking up ground space will hold a little more humidity than the ground thats open air, so they will hide under that. They will also bury deep if it is really dry. Put some wet or moist cardboard on very bottom and cover it with your substrate. It will hold humidity longer. They also eat cardboard so its a win-win The shipping should be the same unless you get a lot and the package is extra heavy, it might be more. It is generally $45 FedEx overnight and $30 for 2-day. They travel VERY well, so overnight is definitely not necessary, unless it is obscenely hot. Hope that helps, lemme know if you have any more questions
