Is it ok to keep slings in larger enclosures? Im feedimg them pre killed mealworms and leaving them near the hide (g pulchra) and bottom of fake plants (p metalicas and p smithi). The g pulchra has taken it but the smithi and metalicas havent eaten yet. Should i move them all into smaller enclosures or just leave them and try to tong feed them.
Thanks in advance

How large are the slings and how large are the enclosures?

There's nothing wrong with giving Ts extra room to move or to grow, but you do want to make it easy to keep track of your slings and make sure that they can easily find the food you're providing them with. Although I tend to go a bit larger on my juvenile enclosures, I tend to keep my slings in moderately-sized ones so that I can correctly maintain the climate inside and so that I can track their eating and molting better.

My p.smithi is approx 1" and is in a tall 1 litre container. My 3 p.metalicas are approx 1" each, maybe slighty smaller and being kept communally in a tall 2.5 litre container. My g.pulchra is approx 1.5" and is in a 13 litre container with deep substrate. I know the g.pulchra container is too big but i set it up for a juvenile and i ended up with a sling. I was thinking of moving them into 32oz deli cups and keeping these containers until they grow some more.

Good idea. I would go this route. Larger enclosures are not a problem, you just have to be more vigilant. However 13 litres for 1.5" is going to make it very hard to track the tarantula.

I've been there when you set up the enclosure but the spider you receive isn't as large as you were expecting. I agree that the 13 liter is probably a bit large; the 32 oz deli cup will be perfect. I use a lot of those for my smaller slings, and they work great. At least that way, you can better keep an eye on the spider.
