should I remove the hide

hi all

I have lovely Mexican flame knee tarantula. She is around 2 years old and rather cute. She can be quite prone to hair flicking so I keep my distance. For the last few weeks her bald patch has been getting darker and she has actively avoided crickets like the plague. I notice she has now made a fine mat of web and is upside down in her burrow.

After some research, I understand this all looks like a normal mounting process.

My main concern as a newbie (i just have one other T) is that the hide where she has chosen to molt is quite restrictive.

Should I 'help her out' and remove the hide while shes molting. Pic attached

thanks in advance

I'd leave her alone. Ts usually know what to do and where they can do it safely plus it's not a good idea to disturb them while they are moulting

well success. What a clever girl. Today we have a nice new spider. She seems quite feisty. I will leave it a while before removing the shed skin. My GBB has decide to seal herself in her hide. Perhaps she is going through the same thing
