Shell hides

SO I just have a quick question about hides. I found a shell on the beach that is the perfect size and shape for a hide, and I've boiled it to sterilize it. The only thing I'm worried about, though, is the danger of the shell cutting my T and hurting it. If I used this as a hide, would there be a chance of my T rubbing up against a sharp part of the shell and getting hurt? If so, is there anyway I can prevent that? Thanks!

Yes your T could injure its self on sharp bits, U could try to round off the sharp edges wig sand paper but it would be a lengthy process
indeed.

If you have access to a dremel, use the sanding drum bit, very fast but can create dust.
