When a male tarantula molts and his new tibial hooks are now present does this mean he has officially started his male maturity?
Not all species have tibial hooks, look for bulbs/emboli on the modified pedipalps. But yes, this means he just completed his ultimate molt. When a male tarantula molts and his new tibial hooks are now present does this mean he has officially started his male maturity?

sucks being a mature male....PMSLHes only good to breed for a few months...then his sperm count weakens.
