I am noticing that my M. balfouri communal setup is going high rather than below. 4 juveniles and a sling. I was expecting for the ground to be webbed out and tunnels to be dogged but instead they started webbing everything going up and will stay on/in their web above ground.
Definitely not an arboreal species but qualifies to me as a semi.
Cheers.

Pterinochilus murinus (OBT) and Pseudhapalopus sp. Blue are a couple that spring to mind.
Don't give an OBT too much substrate to discourage it from burrowing and it will web upwards.
If you give an OBT shallow substrate they will construct a trap door-like hide with webbing and dirt - think of a dirt rug vs dirt curtain
