Rose hair possibly in trouble???.....

Hello everyone!

I need some advice. I have a rose hair, not sure how old or what sex. (I refer to is as a "her" for whatever reason) I have had her for 3 years, she has never shed. The other day while feeding her I noticed a reddish spot on the side of her body, about even with her fangs. Just one side, the other side appears to be fine. My original fear was a mite of some kind, however, on closer examination that does not seem to be the case. She's still eating fine and appears other wise healthy. I managed to get some pics, not the greatest quality but you can see it. Any ideas on what it is, and what I should do to treat it?

That is very peculiar. Have you tried to gently wipe it with a soft brush or cotton swab?

It looks to me like she scraped herself on something, the bristles seem to have been rubbed off. She does look female to me, btw.
