I think I can say with absolute certainty that this species is going to be quicker to grow and therefore more likely to have a slightly shorter life than Grammastola.Does anyone have experience with Cyclosternum schmardae in terms of comparing its growth rate and lifespan to those of the Grammostola genus?
How long of a lifespan would C. schmardae have?I think I can say with absolute certainty that this species is going to be quicker to grow and therefore more likely to have a slightly shorter life than Grammastola.
Grammastola and Brachypelma are notorious for slow growth rates and longevity.
not sure tbh. I would say a female expect 10 to 12 years, males 3 to 4 but that is just a guess and based on averages for most other similar sized T species. How long of a lifespan would C. schmardae have?
You seem obsessed with asking about lifespans of different species of tarantulas? I've seen several different threads started about the very same question... There's no difinative answer to how long any tarantula lives... They are all individual so it's a law of averages... A bit like saying how long do humans live? Well we should live till 100 years old but most will be dead by the age of 60? So it's a rough average... Get yourself some Ts and find out for yourself and learn along the wayHow long of a lifespan would C. schmardae have?
