Hello all! So I recently picked up a really cute Female Arizona Blonde last weekend and it’s been a while since Iv cared for spiders (about 13 years). When I got her, I noticed her abdomen was fairly small. And seemed somewhat to be wrinkled slightly. I asked the associate the last time she ate and he claimed he JUST fed her a super worm. But I’m feeling like I was lied to. Well iv picked up some Dubia Roaches and she seems to be eating extremely well and plumping up nice. But she is EXTREMELY food responsive. The slightest gust of wind she’s trying to bite it, if I open her enclosure she runs to the middle pretty quickly like she’s ready to beat me up. Iv been feeding her 2-3 Dubai’s every two days and I just want to know if it’s normal for her to be so food “aggressive” I can’t even get slightly close to her without her trying to bite. I just want to make sure this is normal and if there’s anything I can do to help make her more comfortable. She’s got about 3-4 inches of substrate and it’s nice and dry. She’s got plenty of room to walk with many places to hide. I keep the temperature to about 70-75f with about 50-60 humidity. Any input would be helpful! I’m new!
