[QUOTE="Reptiles, post: 234877, member: 48897"] We have a exo terra 30x30x45 bio active we used with our praying mantis. She died of old age. We want to use that for our tarantula and and looking for a pink toed tarantula. Would an adult or juvenile get their legs stuck in the grid? If we got a baby then will keep it in a cup as shown above until it's big enough but just wanted to check. There is ventilation along the bottom as well so it looks like lots of cross ventilation? I've added pics of what it looks like now. Will change up the plants and use bark etc. Also, would a heat mat on the side suffice as we live in the UK and it's cold? Would be enough to heat up the ambient temp? We own snakes and a crested gecko so understand humidity and temp. We use DHP lamps on them but won't be for the tarantula. Anyone using heat mats?
