Preserve Dead Rose Hair

Hello Everyone, my 15 year old Rose Hair recently passed. I was wondering what the best way to preserve her would be? I unfortunately can't gut her for dry display, I couldn't bring myself to do it. I've read things about possible putting her in a jar with isopropyl alcohol. Any other recommendations?

I just let mine dry out in a vented deli cup still in death curl. Impossible to stretch it out now without rehydrating or breaking it. I left it in a distant part of the house, didn't notice a smell, no bugs or mold occurred for me. YMMV.

Depending on your goals for your girl you could leave her as it to dry out, stretch her out and let her dry or perhaps find another hobbyist willing to do the work for you. I know a bunch of CA invert-fanatics that would relish the opportunity to pin your T. PM me if interested.

Use 90% alcohol. Make sure the spider is covered. Check every year or so if you need to refill the alcohol.
