PPulcher Question

My juvi PP finally took a red runner, or so I thought. She just killed it and left it in her water dish. Her abdomen is quite small as well. I misted her enclosure, hoping she’d drink the droplets as she had no interest in her water bowl.

Should I worry?

I wouldn’t worry, chances are it’s just not hungry or just simply saving it for later. As a fanatic of the Psalmopoeus genus, I have found the four species I raised to be somewhat particular about food. I would feed mine mealworms. You can try different feeders. A lot of arboreals in general will take crickets readily.

She probably is drinking from the water dish, but on her own time.
