Possible molt coming soon?

Hi all,

I think my Grammostola Porteri is going to molt soon but I'm not sure, she's still eating and spends most of her time out in the open.

Her abdomen has a few patches that look like dry flaky skin, that's how I'd describe it. It's not very visible in the pic but here is one any way.

Could this be the start of a molt or something else?

That's hard to say. The flaky patches you're describing are just patches of urticating hairs.

Does that mean she's been flicking hair? I haven't seen her do this yet.
