Tim MillwoodI really want a Mexican red knee. but not knowing that much about tarantulas yet I want to make sure I get one like the rose hair that requires no special treatment. something that likes it warm and dry..

Pet Shops reply - Most all are forest dwellers and like a damp warm surrounding including your Rosehair.

I couldn't start to make myself think this person knew about Ts plus giving out info about them on top of that ..

Every piece of info I've gleaned from pet shops regarding tarantulas is wrong. Rosies hate a moist environment, especially wet sub. The only tarantulas that require that kind of wetness are the babies under 2 inches and the swamp dwellers.

Mexican Redknees do not require any more treatment than do Rosies. A Redknee was my first T and they are super easy to care for. They like a dry cage, room temperature, a water dish, and just several crickets a month. A hideaway is also appreciated.
