Owner for 21 years

Hi, I'm Darren. I live In Nortinghamshire and own a Chilean Rose Tarantula called Mortisha, I have had her for over 21 years. She's perfectly healthy, moulted several times since I've had her, and generally a good eater. That is until now. She has not eaten in over 8 months, and I'm concerned. I know they do go through periods where they do not eat, but mines never gone this long. I'm not sure if anyone has had the same Tarantula for as many years as mine, but if anyone has any thoughts, you could ease my mind. She's the best pet I've ever had.

She looks good, no need to worry, I've heard of rosies especially ones of this age to go on fasts for well over a year. Just make sure you keep her water dish full and offer food every week or 2.

What a beauty... I to have a rosea and I hope to have her as long. She's so docile and loves sitting in my shoulder, especially when footballs on, she must love the HD pitch,lol

Lol brilliant. Never had mine on my shoulder, she likes being on hands or sitting on a leg. Good luck and have fun owning and looking after her
