The first week I had this sling, I fed it a cut meal worm and then about four days later I fed it another cut meal worm. I waited a week after that and then a week and a half after that to feed it a cut meal worm.

Now it's abdomen looks like this:

I thought I read somewhere about shiny abdomen;s being either pre-molt or overfeeding. Not sure how to tell the difference yet.

I fed my sling twice a week. Till he got that size I stopped feeding. But wasnt really walking its enclosure like your cute spiderling. Have u noticed any new droppings since u last fed. I also have heard of the shiny coloration on it but my cobalt was more on the darker side.

I am very new to tarantula keeping, so I am unsure of what I am looking for really. When I think I see a "dropping" it's just part of the substrate that I haven't seen before... lol.

It's still very active, rarely hides and is still eating.

in case anyone was curious, it's a b.smithi sling.
