In this vid you can see a mature male C. ritae play dead like I have never seen before. He literally went from courting and breeding. After which upon removal decided to play dead. He is just fine today and even fed. Most of the time all the Cyriocosmus males I've dealt with live exceptionally long and this was just so odd for a three plus week old mature male.
Now on to a eight plus year old female H. gabonensis in the second part of this clip. She definitely that if anyone has experience with please chime in. The small cyst/abscess is on the underside right at the connection between her abdomen and carapace. In my twenty plus years of keeping T's I have never ran into this before. Her abdomen even kindof flops loosely like it is just barely attached. Other than that she seems to be fine and hopefully a molt helps resolve this issue.
