A lousy day, been raining all afternoon. nothing on telly but the cats are all sound asleep so I decided to rehouse Culli.
I had its new home ready yesterday and left it in the nursery viv overnight to get temps up as the substrate was very cold so I took the other slings out of the viv to give me room to work. For once Culli was down in its web so I began by shifting all the web from the sides of the old tub and removed that along with the piece of plant it was all attached to. Almost everything in the container came out together it was so webbed up, fortunately without Culli who was left sitting in the side of the empty tub. All I had to do was give it a gentle nudge and Culli walked neatly into its new home. I wish all rehouses could be so simple .
Last look at its bare old tub
New container is 4'' x4'' x 5'' I've put plenty substrate in although it spends most of its time up in its webbing. Culli has a lot of work to do.
