So I mentioned before that Noelle (our Rosie) is very attached to her water bowl (aka bottle cap), and we've played a couple games of tug of war when I've gone in to fill it up. I've become used to this behaviour now, and expect this from her. Then I went in yesterday to re-fill it (she just keeps dumping it so she can 'cuddle it' lol), and she actually let me take it out without the standard death grip, which surprised me. Noelle is usually fine with me putting it back in, but yesterday she charged at me as soon as I was lowering it in LOL. She grabbed it out of the tongs, dumped the water and ran with it to the other side of the enclosure where she proceeded to sit on it for the rest of the day! She is so fast when she wants to be lol.

I have taken to refilling Velma's water by removing it with tongs, cleaning it, replacing it with tongs, and then refilling it with a small bottle due to similar behavior.

Well...she's a jerk when it comes to that bottle cap lol. When I moved her into her enclosure she was fine, and she doesn't freak out when I have fed her...so I would say docile other than the stupid cap rofl!

That's good. Mine will charge me when I refill her water dish or when its feeding time, I love it.

I had to give rapture ( slightly nuttier of my two chromatus ) two water bowls in hope there is half a chance he can drink from one of them, he doesn't love them tho, he kills them. My b smithi sling flamenco is a real water baby tho and sits in her bowl all night sometimes.

She was ready to kick hairs at me tonight :/ I think once I get her into her final enclosure she might calm down a bit, since the one she's in is fairly small atm. I had hoped to have her moved already, but felt that it didn't have enough substrate, and I couldn't get out to the store until yesterday...and now waiting for that sub to dry out /sigh

On the bright side, I'm fairly certain she is in fact a she :D

I think rapture wants everyone to die, I did not know that when I named him. Dakota on the other hand has finally moved and is clinging onto the empty toilet roll tube that I put in for him to hide in, well he's got it in a bear hug.

I think the name still works...he obviously gets great pleasure from killing his water dishes LOL

HAHA! For some reason that cracks me up...little spider laying on a tiny couch "I just want a water dish that I can love!"

I blame the parents, biological ones that is, not his adoptive mum.
