I got my breeding group of true form b.albopilosum today, 3 adult females and 1 mature male. Im really excited about finally giving breeding a go. Im praying i get it right. I sat up for afew hours last night reading through the tarantula keepers guide, aswel as searching the internet. Anyway, here they are... so fluffy haha.

And to top it off, i also picked up a mature male gbb today [emoji2]

I will get some better pics once they have all settled, i couldnt keep the lids open long or they all tried to climb out and make a run for it lol.

The breeders so far (still waiting for my male b.smithi to mature, plus i need to find mature males for my avic metallica, p regalis and p metallica.

Thanks, they are all brill, male gbb is abit on the small side but im sure he will get the job done when hes called upon, or at least i hope he does lol.

Congrats, they're beautiful. Give the females a few weeks to settle in and several meals to fatten them up. Place remnant sperm web in their enclosures and keep his enclosure adjacent o theirs. Let him crawl into the females' enclosures and see what happens. If he bolts try, another female. Please keep posted.

My two WCs have recently mated with my WC male. Feeding the females and waiting.

This is going to hopefully be an awesome project. The true Curly hairs are lovely. Got one at the weekend but an immature female. I also have 4 slings of these too. Please please please do keep us all in the loop.....and if you need to pass any on I am a 45 minute drive away! Just saying.....lol

About 4 inches I reckon. Can try power feeding to bring her on in case yur old man is still doing his thing.....lol

Nope, things were really busy at the show and didn't really have chance to discuss properly. I reckon a recent moult though as does not look that full and all hairs in tact so not much time to flick woukd be my guess. Will try to bulk her up and see what happens. This is all beset on ventral sexing as we're not on sale as sexed so there is still a margin for error. Work comes to the worst though, I will know of a few females who might fancy a visit from a toy boy!
