I would highly advise against handling any of your tarantulas while under the influence (of anything). We don't need to give the government more reasons to ban certain species from the pet trade. Before you call me paranoid,  it has happened before and can easily happen again.  I stay out of my spider room when I've been drinking or anything because I know I could end up doing something stupid and it just isn't worth ruining it for me and everyone else in the hobby.
