Hello everyone, today I obtained another tarantula ( a chaco gold knee) when its more settled I will put some pics up.
also I have been thinking about selling my MM G rosea Rodney to a breeder so he can have a chance at mating as I don't want him to spend the remainder of his life ( probably around 1 year left as he had his ultimate molt 2 months ago) stuck in a tank driving himself crazy because he can't find a mate :( what should I do?

the new spider is called Ronnie

You picked a great new spider! Congratulations on bringing Ronnie home!

I think you're right to try to find a new owner for Rodney. His species used to be mostly wild-collected, but now importing them is restricted. If we don't breed the ones we currently have in the hobby they will become hard to find pretty fast. Let your little man sow his wild oats and make some babies.

I love my G. pulchripes and I promise that you will too. I know it is a tough decision to make for Rodney, but he is coming to the end anyway. If you have a chance to let him breed, then maybe that is the way to go. Get some of his offspring as part of the deal and you can have lots of Rodney Jrs.
