Thought I'd give a communal set up a try, as well as a future at mating, so I bought 3 Heterothele villosella, "Tanzanian chestnut" Ts. (1/2" slings)
I also bought a 1.5" P fasciata sling.
Hope all goes well.

Jealous!

Good luck with the H. villosella. The way you have them set up is pretty much the best way to do it, with a separate hide for each. They aren't truly communal, but rather more tolerant than most. I don't know about H. villosella specifically, but H. gabonensis in the wild never share retreats but they do have them in close proximity. I've heard some sad stories about ending up with just one H. villosella.

Yea, I'm pretty nervous about it, but wanna give it a go. As of right now, 2 out of 3 each picked out a hide n webbed it up, n are eating inside it. The 3rd T is out in the open eating.
Hopefully they're tolerant and can coexist so they can mate without me having to do transfers for mating.
