Anyone else a fan of Chilobrachys? I dont see a lot of posts on Chilobrachys but they are incredible. Ive always liked baboon species and picked up my first Chilobrachys a few months back (now have 5) and these guys may be my favorite now.

I have tons and tons of favorites but Chilobrachys is a great genus. Some of my favorites are Poecilotheria, Psalmopoeus, Lasiodora, Brachypelma, I can go on and on, I love tarantulas :T:

It's a glorious hobby filled with incredible beauty. Spiders are way underappreciated.
100% facts. The social stigma discriminates against them, society was taught to fear them. Instead of buying into the lies, all is needed is research and respect, nothing more, nothing less.

Thanks for making a Chilobrachys appreciation thread! They were one of my latest genus additions and are quick becoming a favourite due to their speed and beautiful webbing. I would be interested to see pictures if anyone has any :) I have 4; sp electric blue (Mystica), 2 huahini (Flash and Meadow) and a sp kaeng krachan (Naobi). Will upload pics of them soon.

I have my eye on the chilobrachys dyscolus and the chilobrachys sp. electric blue. You are so right - just stunning!
