Today i received my latest additions, taking my collection to 16 (ive got another 2 arriving on saturday though so im not quite finished adding more haha)
Anyway i thought that i would use this as a review aswel as introducing my new babies [emoji5]
I used the spider shop again, lee and his staff are fantastic and ive always bought from them, apart from a bad experience with one uk supplier, and a really positive one with spidersworld in poland. So here goes...
I received my package at work, i also bought some supplies so it came in 2 seperate boxes.

Both were packaged very well as always, lots of styrofoam lol.

And moving on to my spiders. For those who dont know i ordered a sub adult a.geniculata, an adult female a.metallica, a 3-4cm lp and a 1cm a.braunshauseni. They were all packed nice and snug, so much so that the lp didnt want to come off the tissue when i unpacked it haha. Heres a couple of pics of the packing.

So now to introduce them to the world, drum roll please.....
First my little lp, kong.

Moving on to my a.geniculata, marv (named after everybodys favourite arachnophobic home alone villan lol)

And last but by no means least, my female a.metallica (not named her yet either)

Another very happy customer, very nice healthy looking Ts and a great service again from the spider shop. Without a doubt, a fantastic supplier and they really take pride in what they do. I cant recommend the spider shop enough.

Obviously due to the new additions ive had to make more room for them so ive had to put up another shelf lol. Heres a photo so far along with a list for anyone thats interested.

I know that feeling. I'm waiting for a delivery from Poland, I'm hoping it'll turn up this week and not keep me hanging on over the weekend.

I didn't know they did that, I wonder if they use a courier like http://spidershop.pl/?lang=en use for their containers because all mail comes into the UK via Heathrow Distribution Centre and that is where everything gets held up.

They dont post it by airmail, it gets driven over, thats why its so fast. At first i was abit reserved about the idea when they mentioned it but they said they have sent packages to the uk like this for years and they re ommended it as safer and faster than royal mail, i agreed to use that service. Got a dispatch notification on the friday morning and saturday tea time a van arrived at home and delivered them.

That sounds like the courier that Jakub at http://spidershop.pl/?lang=en uses for his glass containers.

It could be, they have a plain black van. Orion at spidersworld said they have used them for years and never had a DOA, unlike royal mail that think a fragile sticker on a parcel means throw it around lol

Camera was abit blurry for the diversipes, it hid under a leaf and when i tried to move it to get a better first shot, it did a usain bolt and made a run for it haha. I will let it settle in then try again, but being an avic no doubt it will happen again lol
