Has anyone here ordered from them? I'm currently condensing my T wishlist and narrowing down on the breeders that I would definitely order from during winter.

Does Net-Bug offer heatpacks? That's my main concern...Normally I would email them to confirm but several weeks ago I emailed them about a spider that they had and never got a response.

Just my two cents, if they couldn't be bothered to answer you on a potential sale with the information you needed/requested, then how easy are they going to be to contact about even more important things?
Having already experienced no reply would make me hesitate in dealing with them. To many other good folks out there who go above and beyond.

I've ordered from Anastasia before, and it was a very positive experience. She did use a heat pack, and the Ts were well packed and came in great shape. She also saw that I was in the same state as her and offered to meet me half way so I didn't have to pay for shipping. Although I didn't take her up on the offer, it was a heck of a kind gesture.

She's always gotten right back to me, so I'm not sure about the communication. I'm surprised to hear that she didn't respond. Not good.

I got an adult B. Smithi Female Late last month from Anastasia. She was great. She'll contact you the day before she ships to make sure you will be available to sign for the spider. She really cares about her tarantulas. By the way my girl came well fed, healthy, and active right out of the shipping cup.

As far as the communication, i contacted her before I made my order with a couple of questions. She replied in less than 24 hours. Be sure to use this address: [email protected] I also followed up after I received my order and she replied immediately.

I'd make my current order with them except my son is dead set on the 1.5" Geni from Ken the Bug Guy, he refuses to raise anything under 1 inch now for some reason.

I've had a super busy week, so I didn't see this thread until just now. I love Anastasia. I've placed 2 online orders with her and also met her in person at an expo. Her prices are slightly higher, but she takes great care of her animals and as she has such diverse stock that her overhead is higher than vendors with a smaller selection. She's my favorite of the big name online vendors I've used (and I've used quite a few...) and I highly recommend her.

Seen her at the hamberg show, her people skills in person are lacking to say the lease, kinda had a buy my bugs or get out, dont ask any qestions what so ever....... the t's were healthy and she knew what she was doing, but came across as extreamly rude and offish, although they had a few t's i wanted i passed them right by for the other dealers

I am not very social person either, I prefer to avoid human contact.

I'm there with Thistles. Anastasia is awesome. She may be the the most proficient and prolific tarantula breeder in the states. Taught me a lot and sold me a lot. I can't recall an occasion where she missed an email or didn't spend time going over spider care with me at shows. None of us is perfect, so I'd give her a pass and try again. She does sit all by herself so is pretty busy.

I think she is one of the top breeders in the country. Have purchased from her in the past and have nothing but a great experience. She has some of the rarest T's in the states available. I would not hesitate. Sorry this started out with a no reply to an email. Frustrating for anyone excited about buying a T but there may have been a valid reason?

I had that same email issue with Anastasia, come to find out there was a glitch and the email was caught in the spam filter but it didn't show there.

I've spoken to her on the phone a couple times, she has always been super friendly and helpful (and that accent... ). For the one order i placed where the email wasn't cooperating she texted me and called/left voicemail for status changes.

She will use heatpacks if needed, and she does check weather reports at your location for shipping. She delayed my shipment for a week due to her local weather and my weather report and kept me informed on these changes.

Out of the vendors I've used to get my collection, Anastasia is the top tier. I highly recommend her as a vendor.

Hi guys, I cannot comment on the email communications but in all of my transactions with Anastasia, the one thing that I found consistent was the health of the animals and the care she puts into her business. The packing has always been thoughtful and she most always gives freebies as well. Hope you can work through the email issues.
