I was intrigued to see the patch on the abdomen of this little one when I rehoused it yesterday.

Kalina arrived at the beginning of November as a first instar.

It moulted 3 weeks ago but this was the first time I'd seen it since the moult. Now a 2nd instar and you can clearly see the patch I'm referring to.

Looking at the photo of the adult (photo curtesy of Spiders World) I realised it is the beginnings of the adult colours coming, the bluey-green is beginning to appear too. I admit to being surprised at these changes beginning so young but it's going to be interesting to see its progress

Hello, How has your N. sp Suriname progressed? I recently purchased one and am curious as there is still limited data on this species.

I'm sad to say it died, no idea why but just one of those things. :(
