I do what you do, but I don't use common names, just scientific--its otherwise inaccurateand confusing. In addition, I don't give any of my Ts names until I have properly sexed them. That being said, I falsely named 2 males female names and one female a male name---still learning I guess.

Most of my slings only have the scientific names on the containers. The larger enclosures mostly have scientific & normally, (also,) one of the common names displayed. Only 2 of my T's have names on their tanks. These being Felicity (Flick) my stirmi, who only has scientific name & Felicity. And then Hohokam who has, A chalcodes, Arizona Blonde & Hohokam on their tank.

My Cyriopagopus albostriatus has scientific name & two of it's common names, (Edible spider & Thiland Zebra Leg,) on the enclosure.

Where sex is known, from a molt. I also have a pale red or a blue round sticker on the tank. Or is pink & blue now sexist & unacceptable? :T:

I give them a name when I gendered them in 2-3inches

I would not capitalize pulchripes...
It should read Grammostola pulchripes.
:)
