Do you mean Aphonopelma mooreae, if it is, be prepared to drop a whole bunch of change on a tiny sling. If you are on the other forum, a member by the name of Joe Rossi may still have some. Excellent seller. (That is who I bought my G. grossa slings from)I've got poecilotheria rufilata as my next want, or brachypelma mooreae. I also need an Asian tiger so (don't remember taxonomic nomenclature). What does TF think?
aphonopelma mooreae about £200(GBP) the cheapest I can find in or around Europe. How does that compare to $(USD). only out of interest no other reason...LOLDo you mean Aphonopelma mooreae, if it is, be prepared to drop a whole bunch of change on a tiny sling. If the calculator I used is correct: just over $254 USD.aphonopelma mooreae about £200(GBP) the cheapest I can find in or around Europe. How does that compare to $(USD). only out of interest no other reason...LOL
not a million miles away then. still a lot though....LOLIf the calculator I used is correct: just over $254 USD.
If you really want it you will buy it no matter the price or what anyone say's -we,ve all done it....not a million miles away then. still a lot though....LOL
... and £200 is nowhere near the most I have spent on a sling. But I am trying to be more disciplined these days so don't encourage me! ha haIf you really want it you will buy it no matter the price or what anyone say's -we,ve all done it....
I can think of worse things to spend $254 on....a holiday....alcohol..etc.....Just sayin'![]()
Fear not has mooreae for $275. I'm thinking about an goliath bird eater. It's been so lonely, and probably needs a girl to take care of him.
quite right @Rs50matt ..I raised the same point in an earlier postWithout coming across as being harsh. Would you be better off getting something a little less expensive and abit hardier if your first 2 slings died? Not saying it was your fault they died but there is always a chance something isn't quite right.
I've done a lot to improve the environment. Fact of the matter is they are my spiders, and if they die it's still a good bet I was at fault. I'm just trying to accept responsibility for what I have. Nothing lives forever, but I won't get anywhere if I give up.Without coming across as being harsh. I do still want those species, but I'm also giving a bit more consideration to what I'm doing. I decided to start a Dubia colony instead. They seem to be doing well, and so does my H Mac. Not sure about having spiders mailed to the door. My roommate is a big vagina, and it's getting hot.I get that they are your spiders and your choice. I'm not trying to police what people should get but the point im trying to make is you were getting excited about having a H pulchripes and an OBT. They died ... it can happen.. but now you say you've improved the environment but you want a P Rufilata , Goliath birdeater and an A Mooreae. I don't understand why you aren't just replacing the Obt and the H Pulchripes. Or do you no longer want these species?
