They seem a little pricey for acrylic? Can get glass ones the same price
I personally prefer acrylic over glass due to weight/visibility and I've never found a glass enclosure that I was happy with specifically designed for tarantulas.

I believe these use a more expensive type of non-warping acrylic too so that's a factor.

I'm quite happy to pay more for the design customisations around ventilation and allowable substrate depth on these. I'm not one for retconning or refitting enclosures in DIY projects (I understand loads love this, no disrespect) so it's just nice to have something designed thoughtfully for purpose that I can knock together in 10 minutes and know it ticks all my boxes for recommended species husbandry.

Mate don’t get me wrong they look amazing, when adding on shipping to the the uk medium sized enclosure plus extras, that kills my budget, I may get one when my golden blue leg is full size.

Yeah, it's definitely not a budget option. I usually order 3 or 4 at a time when I've got stuff ready to live in them to save on postage. Their sling boxes are very reasonably priced too so I throw some of them in the package, especially the arboreal ones which have amazing cross ventilation for Avics.

@AdamG that's a cool enclosure. I had to look at it twice because I thought it was an optical illusion. It's shorter in front, taller in the back. I like the lock mechanism. I'm gonna check and see if they ship to the U.S.
