I do in all my enclosures. Great for keeping moisture and preventing cricket drowning and polluting the water. My terrestrials drink from the dish.

I've heard from some people say they can but I've heard alot say they won't. Personally just don't see it as nessecary. My smallest slings just get water droplets on the walls. At around .75" they get a small vial lid of room in the enclosure allows. Then @1" they get a water bottle cap, 2" they get a milk jug cap. Never had any drowning issues, with slings or feeders.

Some of my T's that require moisture I put some crystals in the dirt and mix it up. I do not use the crystals on the slings beig that they are to small for a dish yet.
