Hi people I'm a newbie on here.
Cecil my scarlet back bird eater likes to drown his food before going into molt. Strange thing this time was he molted outside the burrow. Is it because he's getting bigger?

Lasiodora klugi. Once they get some size to them they rarely use their burrow. They will molt out in the open, I believe they are just more confident. Here's my female.
