My avicularia is unhappy maybe?

I have an A. avicularia sling that's a little over 1cm DLS and as far as I know they are supposed to be heavy webbers? Mine has not built a web at all, and it hangs out at the top of the enclosure a lot (which is normal) BUT, I got this sling like 6 weeks ago and it hasn't eaten at all. I can't tell if it's in premolt but it's abdomen does not look shiny to me. Is my avic unhappy? I attempt to feed it once a week but it has absolutely no interest in food and it's abdomen is small. Suggestions?

I have attempted to feed it roaches that are the size of my avic's carapace and abdomen, and I have attempted meal worms but they just dig into the substrate and disappear which is annoying. I haven't tried flightless fruit flies cuz I thought that prey is just too small, but should I try the fruit flies?

Here is a picture in case this helps with suggestions. Sorry, I don't have a fancy camera to see it very well!

I was able to feed my Avicularia avicularia sling last night. It ate a Flightless fruit fly which I thought would be too small but I tried to pick a larger fly and it ate it immediately. Maybe it just doesn't like mealworms or roaches. Also the mealworms burrow into the substrate which doesn't work, and it wouldn't scavenge on prekill. Maybe it's picky, but anyway, I will feed it Flightless fruit flies from now on and see how it goes.

I also moved all my T's upstairs in a room that is warmer since my house is kept on the cold side. I closed the vent into the room they are in so it doesn't get cold. Luckily my avicularia ate but my B. hamorii also ate (a live mealworm) which was a surprise. So maybe it was too cold for them? Anyway, we will see.

Cut the worms/roach heads off then place the worm/roach in the spiders webbing...it will find it. Fruit flies are only good in the early stages of development, when the breeder is getting them to eat for the first time. They don't contain enough nourishment for a sling well past the 2nd instar phase.

At that size it could have been scavenging but it was just unnoticeable. Also, looks like your picture the T is on like, a W-2 or something. I’m never happy when I’m doing taxes either.

Don't be surprised if new-to-you slings don't immediately web, feed or settle in. A cozy temperature (for them) always helps
