Mold!!

Hi everyone!

I have mold in my T's enclosure, and I can't change the substrate right now, since I don't have any new substrate ready. I'd have to go buy it and leave it to dry for a few days. So no substrate changing for at least 3 days.

Can the mold kill my Brachy? She hasn't touched it. I'm just afraid she'll get something from it. The mold has been there for about 3 days.

If it's not that much mold, you can scoop it out, no massive cleaning necessary.

Sadly the mold seems to be everywhere. There's like a mat of mold on the substrate.

Sounds like you have too much moisture in your substrate and not enough ventilation.
Scrape the surface off and add ventilation.
A photo of your enclosure may also help and give is a better idea what's going on.
A mat of mold or a mat of webbing???...hamorii web the ground or surface of the enclosure.

There is a good post on a different forum that explains all about mold.....it appears it is mostly harmless...
