If on the surface scoop it out during maintenance  and top up substrate For prevetion it helps if you move the dish around and let substrate dry out underneath .Do not overdo the moisture or improve ventilation of the enclosure. Spores are everywhere so at some point it will make appearance its inevitable but its not big deal to control and while bot very eye pleasing its harmless for the tarantula itself but may point out ventilation issues</blockquote>
