I almost feel like a traitor for replacing Vigan so soon after losing it but I always think it not a case of replacing as they all have different personalities.
Mayon arrived safely this morning and is now settling into its new home. The shop emailed to let me know they only had 1 left and it had a leg missing, was I happy to accept it? It seems healthy and active.

Looks like he/she has been eating well too!

I count three legs on both sides. Is it an optical illusion from the perspective of the pic?

Yes, it looks healthy.
You made me go look again. It was a bit lively when I rehoused it on arrival so I'd just grabbed a quick pic.For a minute I thought you were right but now I'm not so sure. I've blown this pic up and I think I can see 7 legs.
