Does anybody here use these?
I have heard some people saying that they are necessary to get successful sacs.

My feeling at the moment is that I leave all sacs with the females. That way there is some cannibalism within the sac (EWL and 1st instars feed on each other) which ensures that only the strongest spiderlings survive. Currently the hobby is ensuring that lots of weak slings survive just so that they can sell a few extra slings. These slings either have issues down the line or carry over weaker genes that would usually be eliminated. It also gives a great chance to see how the babies interact with the mother.
I have personally never used a mechanical mom (Used to use basic incubators) with any of my pokies and have had great success. Also great seeing all the pokie communals grow from the sac together and interact.

Everyone else's feelings?
